The Great Yorkshire Bike Ride is an annual 70 mile sponsored charity cycle ride from Wetherby  to Filey. This ride takes in some of Yorkshire best countryside through the Howardian Hills and the Yorkshire Wolds to the coast.

Every year 2,000 cyclists of all ages and abilities take on the challenge of this great Yorkshire event. Come and join us this year for the 35th annual GYBR on Saturday the 16th of June.

The cost of entry this year is £22 per rider and £32 for an entry plus transport back for you and your bike to Wetherby. .

Rider packs and sponsor forms will be mailed out from April onwards.

On the ride you will be supported by extensive, professional  back up and medical support plus we have 4 refreshment stops and lunch provided and a tea tent at the finish.

Our online fundraising page through Virgin Money Giving is open now. Keep an eye on this website and the Facebook page for updates. Please do not open your own Virgin pages in the meantime and please never open JustGiving pages for the GYBR as we will be unable to trace your donations and credit them to your account.

We expect that all entrants raise money by way of sponsorship or donation to our charity fund to support our nominated charities. If you do not intend to support our charities in this way we ask that you do not enter this limited-entry charity event.

It is a condition of entry that all and any money raised by taking part in this event are for the benefit of our nominated charities only and will passed to them, through the event, as instructed in the rider programme and on the sponsor form.

You cannot enter this event to raise funds for any charity other than our listed recipients.
