Just reflecting on what seemed to me to be another hugely successful event on Saturday.  As a rider, the marshalling, food and all round organisation seemed perfect.  You even sorted the weather, which made it even more enjoyable !. Steven Webb - Farnell Team

As always, fantastic organisation, especially the lunch stop! Well done and thank you to everybody involved.
Kind regards and thanks again for a great day, Martin Cockerham (rider no. 80)

Thanks for a lovely day, we really enjoyed working with everyone in the
Marquee. I hope everything went well on the day!  Sandra Harding, Regional Fundraiser - ChildLine

What a fantastic day! My thanks go out to all the people who volunteered their time to marshal and man the refreshment stops – they helped to make it such a memorable ride. It was so much better than the last time I did the ride over 10 years ago. Can’t wait for next year!  Lynne Hargrave, Rider 879

Just like to say a big thank you to all the marshals and helpers who made the 2006 gybr a brilliant day for me. All the junctions were well manned as were the drinks stations, the lunch stop was extremely well run. The finish was such an ego boost with spectators clapping me over the line, many many thanks. I did try to say thank you to the marshals as I passed them but I must have missed a few, also to the back room staff who we didn't see, so please pass on my thanks. John Carrington

Many thanks for a brilliant day on Saturday. Organisation was great and how you organised such good weather beats me. So many helpful marshals and good company on the ride. We will be back again next year. Dave Gladman

I would just like to say that I took part in my first GYBR on sat and it was one of the best days of my life. Big thanks to everyone who directed, fed and watered us. It was fab. Joanne Kell

I would just like to say what a fabulous day it was for the above ride, which was organised impeccably from start to finish. It's often easy to forget about the people behind the scenes who put in a great deal of time effort & hard work for our benefit on occasions like these and I would just like to thank everyone for making the ride run so smoothly. Tim Hirst

My girlfriend and I decided to do the GYBR for the first time back in March. As neither of us owned a bike at the time this meant some serious training and we are now both firmly hooked on cycling again. Speaking as GYBR virgins it was a brilliant day out! Excellent organisation and the best fun I've had with my clothes on for ages. Great friendly atmosphere. You get such a buzz on your first time when you get to Hunmanby and realise you're going to make it. The zoom down to the finish was soooo exhilarating. Our cheques - we've managed to raise about £500 so far - will be on their way to you soon. John Whitehead - Rider 1000

I had a fantastic day out with 2 friends, all first timers on the ride.
Great atmosphere, very friendly fellow riders and amazingly well organised.
Thanks to all the organisers and the marshals, they did a great job.
Really pleased to have done it and plan to be back next year, aiming to do
it a bit quicker! Thanks for a great day out, Bridget, Rider 261

Just a quick email to say thank you for organising such a great event.  I thought all the marshals, drinks people and lunch providers for the ride were excellent so  big thank you to all of them involved......... they made the ride such a pleasure. Andrew Slade

Yesterday I did the ride (the first time I have attempted it, completed in 5hrs and did not get off bike on any climbs!). I have to say that it was a great day and exceptionally well organised, from the marshaling to the water and dinner stops. My thanks to the many volunteers who gave up their day to point us in the right direction and feed us. My congratulations to you and my thanks for organising a great event.  Carl M Kay
