GREAT YORKSHIRE BIKE RIDE PRESENTATIONS - 6th NOVEMBER 2005

Once again, the presentations took place at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel, Wetherby. Hosted by the Event Organiser, John Taylorson MBE, the presentations closed another very successful year for the Bike Ride and it's recipient charities.

Prizes were also awarded to our top donating individual riders and teams.

The sponsorship total at that date was £109,791 which was very close to the record year of 2004. The organisers are confident that, with further late donations, the event will match last year's record total. At the presentation date 1,103 riders out of the 1,553 starters had made a donation to the sponsorship total.

As ever, there were some great team, junior and individual sponsor money totals which are listed below.

The rider prizes and charity cheques were presented by Steven Webb of Premier Farnell and Peter Wilson of Moores Furniture Group who represented the main sponsor companies.

Chris Emptage donated and presented the Junior awards.
